The Pitt2Pitt Scholarship helps University of Pittsburgh graduating seniors and alumni to complete a Pitt master's degree or certificate program.
To be eligible to apply for a Pitt2Pitt scholarship, the applicant must have received a bachelor’s, graduate and/or professional degree from the University of Pittsburgh, and be in good academic, disciplinary and financial standing with the University.
Applicants who are simultaneously enrolled in more than one academic program that is eligible for the Pitt2Pitt Scholarship may only receive a maximum of one Pitt2Pitt Scholarship per term. University of Pittsburgh employees who receive Education Benefits through the University are not eligible to receive a Pitt2Pitt Scholarship.

The Pitt2Pitt Scholarship currently supports schools and certificates in data science, management, public health, engineering, health sciences, education, and many other fields.
Most schools providing a Pitt2Pitt Scholarship have waived the application fee for graduating University of Pittsburgh seniors and alumni.

Pitt2Pitt Funding FAQs
- How much funding can I expect to receive with Pitt2Pitt?

All Pitt undergraduate students and alumni receive a $5,000-$7,500 tuition scholarship per year if they enroll as full-time students (9 credits or more per term) in a participating graduate or professional program.
- Funds will be disbursed as $2,500/term scholarship (2 terms = $5,000, 3 terms = $7,500).
- The amount applies to both in-state and out-of-state students.
- Please check with the program for term limitations.
Part-time students (minimum 4.5 credits) receive $1,250/term scholarship.
- Funds will be disbursed as $1,250/term scholarship (2 terms = $2,500, 3 terms = $3,750).
- The amount applies to both in-state and out-of-state students.

Pitt2Pitt provides non-refundable funds toward tuition. Therefore, if additional Pitt funds are awarded to the recipient and the cumulative funds would generate a refund, the Pitt2Pitt Scholarship will be reduced or canceled to ensure there is no refund from that support.
