Tamara Clifton joined the Graduate Studies team in the Office of the Provost in January 2022 as the Administrative Assistant. Her primary role involves managing the calendar of Dr. Amanda Godley, the Vice Provost for Graduate Studies. Additional duties include setting Dr. Godley’s monthly office hours, processing payments, and reconciling expenses for the entire Graduate Studies team.
Tamara is a proud alumnus of both the University and the Army Reserve Officer Training Corps (R.O.T.C.) and is a former Army Officer, specializing in Medical Logistics. Her duties included supporting over 15,000 soldiers in an overseas infantry division. Tamara also has an MS in Computer Information Systems from the University of Phoenix and an MS in Management with a concentration in Homeland Security from Colorado Technical University. Her background includes over 20 years of experience in Information Technology in multiple positions and industries.
Outside of Pitt, Tamara is the Director of Programming for the Crestas Terrace Revitalization Project, a nonprofit organization with goals to enhance, empower, and support the residents of the community of Crestas Terrace, in North Versailles Township, Pennsylvania.
